From this academic year onwards, NTA (National Testing Agency) will be going to conduct the most competitive entrance engineering exam JEE. To provide admission to undergraduate engineering courses, NTA will conduct JEE Main Exam twice in a year. JEE Main exam for January session is from 6th-20th January 2019 and for April session from 6th-20th April 2019. With these changes, candidates will get a benefit to appear for the exam twice in a year without dropping a year.
Furthermore, there will be eight shifts, out of which candidate need to choose one day to appear for the examination. There is no need to carry a pen and pencil to the examination, as the exam will be online-based having multiple objective type questions.

Registration Fees
For JEE Main 2019 April, the application fee can be submitted through online banking or e-challan. The payment will be processed from Syndicate Bank, Canara Bank, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank for e-challan. How to fill the application form for JEE Main 2019- April?
There are majorly three steps involved in the registration process in which we can fill the application form for JEE Main 2019 April:
Step 1: Begin the registration by clicking the ‘’Apply for JEE Main 2019’’ button. Proceed with apply online and fill the required details:
- Name of the Candidate
- Date of Birth
- Gender
- Identification ID
- Security Pin
- Identification Type
- State of Eligibility
After filling these details, choose your password and note down your application number. Now, you can login with your respective application number and selected password.

Step 2: Next, you need to upload your scanned documents and photographs in the JEE Main 2019 Application form. The photograph and Signature should be of:
- Photograph and Signature should in JPG/ JPEG format.
- The size of the photo should be in between 10 KB to 200 KB.
- The size of the signature should be in between 4KB to 30 KB.
- The dimension of the photograph is 3.5 cm in width and 4.5 cm in height. Length of the signature is 3.5 cm and height of the signature is 1.5 cm.
Step 3: Make payment of the fee either by debit/credit card or by using e-challan. After the successful payment, print the receipt for your future reference. In case, the acknowledgement page is not accessible after the deduction of the fee from the bank, the amount will be refunded to you within a week. You can start with another transaction process.
You should follow the above steps in order to smooth registration process. Only those candidates will be eligible to download the JEE Main admit card who have successfully applied for April session. With the availability of admit card candidate will be appear in the examination hall.

After making the payment for the exam, you can select the date/slot for the exam as per your requirements. If you haven’t selected the date/slot for the exam, then you will be allotted the same on a random basis.
